PeaZip is a freeware that supports many archive formats such as ACE, ARJ, CAB and RAR.

PeaZip is a free, open source, cross platform, portable archiving and compression utility, with encryption and volume split features. It has full for support: 7Z, 7Z-sfx, ARC/WRC, BZ2/TBZ2, GZ/TGZ, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, split, TAR, UPX, ZIP. You can open, browse, extract, test: ACE, ARJ, CAB, CHM, COMPOUND (MSI, DOC, XLS, PPT), CPIO, ISO, Java (JAR, EAR, WAR), Linux (DEB, PET/PUP, RPM, SLP), LHA/LZH, NSIS, OOo, PAK/PK3/PK4, RAR, WIM, XPI, Z/TZ. Other features include split/join files, wipe files (secure deletion), byte to byte compare files, checksum/hash files, system benchmark, bookmark files and folders.

Flexibility
PeaZip can extract most of archive formats both from Windows and Unix worlds: currently 87 file extensions are supported ranging from mainstream 7Z, RAR, TAR and ZIP to experimental ones like PAQ/LPAQ family, currently the most powerful compressor available.
For archive creation, PeaZip suppors a wide range of compression and encryption standard, from fastes to most powerful ones, and allows to export job definition as scripts to bridge the gap between GUI and console applications, and let the user pick the best of the two worlds.

Portability
You can use PeaZip on all Windows version and on Linux (PeaZip is a desktop neutral application) with the same features and look and feel; moreover, for both platforms, PeaZip is also available as standalone, portable application not needing installation. You can bring PeaZip with you and rely on it on multiple platforms
Security
PeaZip has secure deletion feature, can verify file checksum and hash, and supports multiple strong encryption standards, optionally using two factor authentication (password and keyfile) for increased security:
- 7Z's AES256 encryption
- ZIP WinZip's AE encryption based on AES256 (and ZipCrypto for legacy compatibility); can decrypt PKZip's AES encryption
- FreeARC's ARC: AES256, Blowfish, Twofish256 and Serpent256 - this format is also capable to generate recovery records to protect data against corruption
- PEA: AES256 EAX authenticated encryption

PeaZip is freeware, free of charge for any use, and is also free as in freedom since it's Open Source (LGPLv3)
What's New in PeaZip 3.0 Final:

FILE MANAGER:
- Improved password request's and error reporting messages
- All reset functions (bookmarks, open with, theme etc) collected in Options > Settings main tab
- It is now possible to configure the application (file associations, context menu and SendTo menu) from Options > Settings main tab, through InnoSetup scripts (for Windows and Win64 packages), whithout need to keep the installer

EXTRACTION and ARCHIVING:
- Faster test for password routine before direct extraction
- Multiple objects per instance implemented in context menu
- "Add to archive", "Add to .7z", "Add to .zip", and "Add to self-extracting archive", adding multiple files at once, are now featured
- "Extract..." now schedule all selected files so they can be extracted sequentially in a single instance of PeaZip
- "Convert existing archives" is now enabled by default for "custom" format
- various fixes to menus directly accessing to archive/extract mode
- more information available in PeaLauncher while jobs are running, Pealauncher session's options moved to "Options" tab
